The display case containing the tank comes in the original outer box, protected with bubble wrap and held snugly in place by a handmade two-piece cardboard sleeve (see listing image 23). Holes were carefully drilled in the display case base and bottom of the tank, the latter holes threaded with a tap. 2 This Italian company was founded in 1992 and specialized in the production of high quality, incredibly detailed die-cast cars, military tanks and vehicles and aircraft until the end of 2001. It offered 1:43 scale cars in its DetailCars Collection (1992 – ?), 1:72 scale military vehicles in its Armour Collection (1996 – 1998) and 1:48 and 1:100 scale aircraft in its Armour Collection (1996 – 2001).
