Flashy medium gold surfaces boast the typical "Fairmont" look characterized by the "dirty gold" patina on the high points. The obverse boasts a semi-prooflike appearance as the flashy fields surround mostly frosted central devices. Bold definition is seen throughout, enhanced by the strong luster that cartwheels across the coin when viewed in hand. Chatter and luster grazes are consistent with the grade, however, no marks or abrasions are individually distracting. Overall, a very pleasing piece with nice eye appeal for the assigned grade.
