The 1st 1891 edition is notable for the striking decorative pictorial binding, in this example well preserved and bright. There are several mild ex-library indications, including a mild discoloration base of spine where a label has been removed. Also the front and rear endpapers are glued to the pastedowns where prior library ownership indications were attached.
