Description: A very pleasing Very Good example of Chicago Cubs legend Johnny Evers' Portrait version. Graded 3 VG by Sportscard Guaranty Corp (SGC). The card has the Piedmont 350 reverse. This advertising reverse variety exists in substantially lower numbers on both the SGC and PSA population reports than the Piedmont 150 reverse. As of today (5-6-24), between PSA AND SGC, there are only 20 examples of the Piedmont Series 350 in VG 3. Going back the last 3 years on eBay, using the Terapeak research tool, these are the recorded sales: 1 year ago, a PSA 3 sold for $1,303 at auction. February of this year, a PSA 2.5 sold for $1,450 fixed price Just a single SGC-graded card, in ANY grade, has sold over that time, and that was a SGC 2 in December 2021 for $445 at auction. There is a currently listed a single Series 350 in hammered condition SGC 1 Poor. There's a bunch of the far more available Series 150, 9 of them to be exact, with most in low grade.
