Description: This is a pair of painted side tables with leather tops. The tables both bear a tag underneath the drawer that reads “Weiman Heirloom Quality Furniture Rockford ILL.”. These appear to have been made around 1970 and were originally in a mahogany finish. They have been painted a flat grey color and the leather inlays are new black leather. These small accent tables provide a beauty and function in a compact size. Both have a single drawer adorned with a brass plate back pull. They each also have a shelf about halfway down the tapered legs. Small carvings and fluting on the legs add to the beauty of the pieces. The overall condition of the tables is good. Both are sturdy enough for a heavy lamp and the drawers slide in and out with just one hand. The wood is a little distressed under the paint, so the pair has a rustic vibe to it. Please see the close up photos for a sampling of this. Overall dimensions measure 16.5” wide x 16.5” deep x 27.13” tall.
