This map opens to 18" x 27" and has great detail on old road alignments in the Peach State, with cartography by H.M. Gousha. On the reverse side there are inset plans of Savannah, Macon, Augusta, Atlanta, and Columbus. The front cover photograph shows dogwoods in bloom at Callaway Gardens. The map was distributed by the Shell Oil Company in 1971 and is dated in the legend. I-75 and I-95 were still under construction when this map was printed.
