Description: This rare 1973 D penny is a must-have for any serious coin collector. The coin features a unique off-center design and was struck in Denver. Additionally, the penny has a rare broadstruck and major planchet error that makes it truly one-of-a-kind. The coin is composed of copper and has a RB color. It is ungraded and uncertified, but its rarity and unique design make it a valuable addition to any collection. This Lincoln Memorial penny is a great find for anyone looking to expand their collection and add a rare piece to their collection. From my research the US mint in early 70's There were several of these types of coins that slipped through the exam process. The front is flawless but back has major die cast/ planchette errors, I assume the bottom plate needed to be changed after millions of coins get stamped and this is result. Check out auction prices if you can. This is a steal I just can't afford or had time to grade. I grade coins but can't grade my collection.
