It was not until the end of WWII that the era of industrial mining was over, with an emphasis shifting towards mining mineral specimens. [1] Adamite, in its purest form, is colorless. But Adamite is a fascinating mineral that can occur in many different colors depending on which metal “impurities” are present in its composition. Hence the yellowish, green, blue, pinkish to purple colors you see.
