Description: mid 1800's quality slope in stunning rich walnut, wonderful grain, lovely genuine antique patina, it still retains its fabulous original leather skiver but does show signs of age as one would expect, the quality is shown in that it has stationary compartments behind the pen slide and a secondary lock to top writing slide which when opened reveals the the closing panel for the secret drawers which still have their original bone knobs, the original cut glass inkwells have the crown tops, original lock with working key, overall very good with that unmistakeable original untouched/unrestored patina, has one brass lower edge misplaced measures16" x 10" x 7" high, please check the pictures and please take a look at my other interesting items inc many other boxes/slopes etc, thanks.
