Description: ART TREASURES OF THE LOUVRE FROM 1951 First Edition HC DJ The pages are yellowing, especially at the top edge.No writing, bent corners, or writing on the pages.The binding is tight; no splits.There is discoloration from age on the pages just inside the front and back covers.There is a 1/2" x 1/4" stain on p. 118 and a lighter stain on the opposite/facing page.On plate 23, there is what looks like a manufacturing defect in the paper, which has resulted in a very small tear (1/4"). This defect is visible on the opposite side of the page.Heavy wear on all four corners of the covers that penetrates into the cardboard layer. The edges of the covers are darker than the rest of the cover.The dust jacket is in very poor condition, with heavy discoloration, tears and missing paper.
