Description: This privately pressed and unnumbered 10-inch 33 RPM LP is "Spirituals" by the Baptist Hour Choir, directed by Rev. Paul M. Stevens. It is a production of the Radio and Television Commission of the Southern Baptist Convention in Fort Worth, Texas. Although it is undated, the sleeve notes suggest 1956. It is still nice and shiny, but with some visible surface scuffs and scratches. I played both sides on my Audio-Technica turntable, and there were a few forward skips on Side Two. Otherwise, no skips or repeats, but some audible background crackle, as well as some pops and clicks and passages of ticking. Because of variations in tracking ability, filtering technology and needle weights, I can offer no guarantees as to how well it will play on your equipment. The cover is almost totally split at the top and bottom seams, and there are also some spots and stains, as well as some paper loss from removal of a sticker.
