I am not a comics grader, but I try to be as thorough as possible when assessing books for any flaws. I don't believe in using a number grade system - to me they are mostly utilized as a method to be ambiguous about exact condition and/or individual imperfections - but I do attempt to describe anything other than minor cover shelf-scuffing/scratching in detail. If a certain flaw discussed below does not mention that it affects inside pages, then it does not. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- This copy is in good to very good condition, with a solid spine and great overall inside pages (photo#12 example). Other than a few lighter cover/corner indents, it has some lesser signs of primarily external wear. **Photo#4: -Upper spine corner: Light scuffing. **Photo#5: -Lower spine corner: Very light scuffing. **Photo#6 (w/illumination): -Front cover top edge: Tiny scuff near its middle that shows lightly on 2 pages, otherwise little if any shelf-wear.-Outer corner: Very light ~1" crease/depression on page edge near the corner. Tiny crease/indent/scuff/bend at extreme corner, shows on ~1/4 pages as a tiny/light indent, and ~1/3 pages as a light bend. **Photo#7:-Front cover bottom edge: Light ~1" scuff towards the spine corner, small scuff even closer that shows on ~12 pages, light scuffing along the rest.-Outer corner: Very light ~3/4" crease around corner. ~1/2" indent/scuff/bend around extreme corner, shows as a light ~1" indent on ~15 pages, and a light bend thru ~3/4 pages. **Photo#8: -Back cover top edge: Light scuffing from its middle to the spine corner.-Outer corner: Tiny scuff/bend/cover peel, goes thru ~2/3 pages mostly as a light bend. **Photo#9:-Back cover bottom edge: Light levels of shelf-scuffing along it. Small vertical cover scratch/indent starting adjacent its middle.-Outer corner: Small/light crease web on page edge nearby the corner, light ~1" indent/depression around corner (photo#11 w/illumination). Tiny scuff/bend at extreme corner, goes thru ~1/2 pages mostly as a bend. **Additionally: Front cover's page edge possesses a ~3/4" scuff near its middle. ~1" vertical indent/depression towards its lower half (photo#10 w/illumination) that shows lightly on ~4 pages. Some minuscule scratches spread along the spine edge, with a few small scratches/indents near the title with one ~1/2" one on the title. Back cover has a light ~1.5" horizontal scratch towards its upper half, and 2 light ~1.5" indents/depressions towards the bottom outer corner (photo#11 w/illumination). Some light/mostly small scratches spread around the cover. Book has a light bottom outer quadrant flex/bend. A few pages spread throughout the book have a small indent near their top outer corners. ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- I both buy to read as well as sell TPBs on here, so I understand how aggravating it is to receive a comic damaged in transit. I always pack books firmly between pieces of cardboard (among other materials/layers) via Gemini Comic mailers or bubble mailers depending on size; usually utilizing boxes for larger lots.
