Description: For sale is a set of Brook 12A and 12A3 audio amplifiers that use 2A3 vacuum tubes. If you know about 12A amplifiers, you’ll know how rare it is to find these in a set. Cosmetically, they’re in good condition relative to their age. That said, they have the normal imperfections that you’d expect for items that are 70+ years old. There are scratches, nicks, areas of discoloration, and some rust. One of the 12A and 12A3 amps are in better condition than the other. You’ll see one of them has more rust on the transformer, for instance. The pictures do a better job of illustrating their condition than words. Please refer to them for more details. In terms of the functionality, these were worked on by an experienced technician and they now work well. Only necessary parts to get them working were replaced, otherwise, as many original parts were kept as possible. That means while they are working, a part or parts could go out at any time, as to be expected with vintage pieces. These amplifiers and all their parts are being sold “as is. “ No returns accepted.
