Unusual back part is tufted and the backside is accented with an unusual row of buttons, some of which are now missing but could be replaced with gold covered buttons. Side armrests are also upholstered and cushioned. Combination with dark wood wood makes this handsome design elegant and sleek. The English porter frame has a slight curve to the upper back. Item is upholstered with 50/50 cotton and 1/2 inch foam. Has a few nicks and a light water stain on the seat cushion but overall in good condition.
