Description: Crash Test Dummies Stock Car Dummy Derby Toy Fair Mockup Prototype in Box One of a kind item!! Extremely rare. The Crash Test Dummies Stock Car Toy Fair mockup was produced by Tyco Toy in 1992. This test shot stock car is molded in yellow plastic, unlike the production model which is molded in black plastic. It includes bagged accessory pieces and the figure on a mockup card inserted into a hand-cut window. The front of the box features a white mockup packaging art that has been glued onto the box. Box shows some shelf wear, but overall looks really good. (See pics) This unique collectible was displayed at Toy Fair, further adding to its collectability, as mockup pieces like this are rarely made available to collectors. Crash Test Dummies character “Spin” remains sealed in the mockup card and bubble. Displays very well. Likely one of the rarest pieces from this entire toy line. Needless to say, this is the only one in existence. And truly incredible, not only that it survived intact, but that it ever made it outside of Tyco.
