Description: Custom Vintage TYCO LIGHTED Black with Flames Peterbilt Semi Cab on a totally reconditioned US1 Electric Trucking Chassis Track tested and runs strong and fast! Body and chrome are in good condition. Graphics are in excellent condition! I took a Tyco slot car semi body, modified it and put it on a US1 chassis. I modified the back of the cab to fit a US1 chassis then added styrene to cover the modification and make it look factory. A custom 3D printed light insert was installed. The cab lights and fog lights were painted amber.This car has been meticulously cleaned (hair, lint removed, pick up shoes cleaned, body washed in mild detergent) and oiled. New rear Silicone US1 tires have been put on. Pick up shoes are in great condition now that I detarnished them and filled in the wear holes with solder. It has a brown gear, which are infinitely better than the white ones were, IMHO. A new light bulb has been installed! No broken stacks and all components cleaned up nicely! Great looking and running truck! I've been rebuilding US1 vehicles for quite a while now so I have some experience as to what is good and what is not. I specialize in converting interesting TYCO slot car bodies (originally on HP7, 440X2, HP2, Curvehugger) to fit TYCO US1 chassis. I like to use vehicles that are from the era of the US1 sets.
