Description: This is a pair of Early Bermuda Covers! They were sent to Lt. James Stuart Trotter, R.N., on board the H.M.S. Nile, which was stationed at Bermuda, along with North America and West Indies stations. They were sent in 1861 and 1862. What makes these covers so special and RARE is that they each have a usage of the Great Britain SG 68, the Six Pence Lilac! This is RARE incoming mail to a naval officer during the US Civil War! This is a wonderful early cover! This item is over $100 USD so I will ship it using Priority Mail in the US, and Registered Mail overseas.
