Description: Fostoria was among the first of the American glass companies to initiate an advertising campaign focused directly on the consumer. In the 1930s Fostoria began to produce small format fold out pamphlets devoted to a particular pattern which highlighted the items offered in the line at the time. These were utilized by Fostoria's salesmen as handouts but also were provided, in quantity, to retail customers for them to customize by adding their name in the blank space at the bottom of the cover page. This volume reprints 42 of those pamphlets.
