GORGEOUS VINTAGE 1940s POCKET KNIFE FROM A 50¢ VENDING MACHINE ~ METALLIC GREEN*

Description: ITEM TITLE VINTAGE POCKET KNIFE FROM A 50¢ VENDING MACHINE! Includes Handy Loop on Handle Metallic Green Colored Handle I I purchased this at an estate sale. They told me that "This is a Vintage 50¢ Key-Chain Knife from a Vending Machine and it is in over all fair condition." China is stamped on the blade tang. I found a jar of these Cheap Old 50¢ Knives from a Vending Machine at an estate sale which was located in Coeur d'Alene, Idaho. I did not purchase the vending machine. These knives were all just loose in the jar and had no packaging. They truly are cheap....no.....well done crappy. 😄 LOL This is an old Chinese knife, and the blade is made of a chrome plated copper alloy. If sharpened, the color on the blade is about the same as a new copper penny where the chrome plating is removed. A friend told me that these knives came from 1940s Cony Island in an old carnival gumball machine, which means that age wise it's vintage. He said that some of the very cheap knife blades which were manufactured in China during that era were made of the copper alloy, and that is something you can't find in modern times. The size is about: (5 & 5/8" Open) and (3 & 1/4" Closed). The Blade measures (2 & 5/16" Long). This knife is beautiful to look at and might be collectible, because nowadays it's impossible to find any knife that is made with such low quality. Getting this one would be kinda like owning a little piece of history. It has one Polished Chrome Plated Blade that is actually quite strong. The Handle is Made of a Metallic-Finish Mylar. This Knife also has a Handy Loop on the bolster that can be connected to a cord or chain. If you look close you can see a few small scratches due to being tumbled around in a vending machine. Otherwise its condition is pretty good for a cheap knife! This Knife has been tumbled around in an old vending machine and the blade edges need to be sharpened, so therefore it is sold as is. 100% SATISFACTION GUARANTEED!!!
