Description: This Listing Consists of the following; Guns and Roses Metallica Limited Edition 300 Stadium Tour Poster 1992 taken from the Louisiana Superdome show of this Tour. 1992 Photo of Axl Rose from one of the Photographers covering the Tour. I am only selling these items listed above together, not seperate. At the time, everyone said it could never happen, but it did. The 1992 Guns N' Roses/Metallica Stadium Tour was huge. Big names in the Metal and Rock worlds, the logistics of the Tour, it was more like a regional event - when the Tour hit the Louisiana Superdome, Metalheads and fans of Hard Rock from all over the Southeastern United States came to this show. I went to a few of the performances from this Tour. They were good shows, but as someone who followed Metallica and was familiar with the Metallica Snake Pit and after show Backstage, there were interesting differences with this Tour. Speaking specific about the Backstage Setups - nobody really went backstage because if you sit there waiting for Faith No More to come backstage after their Performance, you will miss the beginning of the Guns and Roses or Metallica Set and vice versa. While backstage talking with Metallica, you hear the Guns and Roses performance in the background. Guns and Roses printed a Limited Edition of 300 Copies of two different Posters, one was the cover of Rolling Stone, the other was a 1992 Tour Poster - BOTH printed specific for this Stadium Tour. I am also selling the Poster for the cover of Rolling Stone, browse my posters to find it and other Rock Posters. Each Band's Backstage Setup was different and Stadium Staff was busy; Faith No More Backstage would be setup, and then broken down, Guns and Roses Backstage would be setup, and then broken down, Metallica Backstage would be setup, and then broken down. Between nobody going backstage, Stadium Staff throwing these posters in the trash, and only 300 printed, there are very few of these posters left. Never displayed 12" x 36".
