I am a retired Washington DC military band clarinet & sax player and learned on these books under my dad when starting out. My dad taught a huge number of students at all levels on these books - more advanced students benefit from going back to the intermediate book and students who have played for a few years with no or sub-standard private lessons usually need to go back to Vol I or II (listed in separate auction) to develop solid embouchure, tone & breathing. I also have taught many students with these methods and they are excellent. I no longer teach students much so don't need these these extra copies.
