Description: This tall Japanese wood kokeshi doll measures 8.5" high. She has very pretty and colorful kimono sleeves - one sleeve features beautiful flowers near homes, and the other sleeve has red Japanese maple leaves near a mountain range and lake. Both sleeves have many Japanese characters describing the scenes. She's also wearing a cute red hair bow. She has a lovely face with smiling lips, framed by her hair. The artist's red stamp/chop is on the bottom. Please see below for flaws. This kokeshi doll is in good vintage condition - hard to find many flaws other than some natural but uneven aging of the wood - and she would make a great addition to your growing collection. White areas are camera glare. Please remember that this is a vintage doll that may have minor imperfections, such as dust/dirt/dings/scratches/scuffs/age spots. And please note the size of the doll as the pictures may make it look larger than it actually is.
