Kodak Retina IB(Big B) Camera & Case**READ**

Description: Serial #476833, Made in Germany. Shutter was tested and all speeds are working and sound accurate, although not confirmed with shutter speed testing equipment. The B, 1 and 1/2 second settings are right on. There are no traces of oil on shutter or aperture blades. Shutter is a Synchro Compur and is known for its accuracy and being quiet. Shutter speeds range from B, and 1 through 1/500 of a second. Lens door opens and closes smoothly. Lens is a Schneider-Kreuznach Retina-Xenar f:2.8/50mm. This lens is famous and noted for producing extremely sharp images. Lens when holding up to the light appears clear and bright without scratches. Focusing is smooth without any looseness or tightness. Film counter is working as it should. Viewfinder and frame lines are are very bright with no haze, dust, or dirt. Film advance system was dry tested with a roll of film is working as it should. Covering on camera is in excellent condition. There is a small nick on the top corner close to the strap lug(see photo 3). Light meter is responding nicely to light but no guarantee as to accuracy. Comes with the original case and Kodak cover for light meter. These covers get lost and more often don't come with these cameras. Case has a place on inside top to store the cover.
