Remove your old lock first and then install this one. This key will not open your old lock. There are hundreds of key codes for these old machines so you will need to drill it out if you don't know the code that was on your key. We also sell locks and keys for the top lid of the "77"s along with sets for replacing, both, the top and bottom. You will get 1 lock, 2 keys, along with the cam and nut for installing.
