Description: A short description In very good condition Mayak-2 (1988, USSR) is a rare vintage radio produced by order of the USSR Ministry of Defense (MoD) at the Dnepropetrovsk Radio Plant from 1982 to 1992, did not go on retail sale. You can judge the external condition from the photo and an example of his work on video. It's designed to receive radio broadcasting stations in the long, medium,short and VHF ranges. The receiver contains auxiliary devices:magnetic antenna in the LW and MW range;smooth tone control for high and low sound frequencies;telescopic rotating antenna in the SW bands The Mayak-2 radio receiver operates in the ranges: LW (200-735m), SW (571.40-186.9m), SW1 (50.85-30.61m), SW2 (25.64-24.79m), SW3 (19 ,93-19.48m), SW4 (17.04-16.67m), VHF 65.8-74MHz (4.56-4.05m) LW/MW reception is carried out via an internal magnetic antenna, HF/VHF via a telescopic antenna; if it is necessary to improve reception, an external antenna can be connected. The Mayak-2 radio is built using a superheterodyne circuit, on AM IF 465 kHz, on FM 10.7 MHz. The Mayak-2 radio receiver circuit is built on 7 hybrid microcircuits, 5 transistors, 10 diodes. The nominal ULF output power is 0.25 W, the maximum is 0.8 W, a 2GD-40A-140 speaker is used as a built-in acoustic system, reproducing sound frequencies in the range of 200-4000 Hz. The Mayak-2 is powered autonomously from 7 high-capacity A373 Salyut-2 batteries; in stationary mode, power can be provided from a 220V AC network or from a stabilized external 12V power source. The Mayak-2 radio has connectors for connecting an external antenna, grounding, a standard TM-4 telephone, a tape recorder, a fixed 220V network, a stabilized 12V source, the main connection connectors are grouped in the lower right corner of the panel. rear panel of the case, antenna and ground sockets are located in the upper left corner of the rear panel of the case.
