Emmett Fritz came to St. Augustine in 1950 and spent the next forty-five years painting the local scene. He could be found on St. George Street displaying and selling his paintings into the early 1990’s. Fritz worked as a cartoonist for the comic strip, Roxie West.Born: October 13, 1917, Kansas City, Missouri.This painting is a Mexico landscape of a mother and daughter.
