Description: PRIMARY ARMS SLX 1-6x24 SECOND FOCAL PLANE LPVO SCOPE The SLx 1-6x24mm SFP Gen IV Precision Scope is the latest iteration of PA's best-selling optic, incorporating a fully upgraded optical system, an integrated dovetail throw lever, and all-new ACSS reticles. ACHIEVING A CLEAR RETICLE PICTURE This scope features an adjustable diopter. The diopter's position affects the focus of the reticle as you see it inside the scope. Setting the diopter correctly is the critical first step to successful precision shooting. HOW TO ZERO YOUR OPTIC To line up your reticle with the point of impact, you will need to zero your optic. Zeroing is most commonly set at 25, 50,or 100 yards, depending on the user's preference. To zero your optic, follow these steps: 1. Using a bipod or sandbags, preferably on a bench or in the prone position, turn the Power Ring to a high magnification to see your target as easily as possible2.Remove the turret caps. Turn the Elevation Knob counterclockwise to bring the point of impact up (if it hits below the aiming point).3. Turn the Windage Knob counterclockwise to bring the point of impact right (if the shot hit to the left of the aiming point).4.Using a small screwdriver or a fingernail you can slip the indication ring on the turrets back to zero. Refix the turret caps. HOW TO SET RETICLE ILLUMINATION The Reticle lllumination Knob on the left side of the scope is marked with numbers of increasing brightness from increasing brightness from 1 to 11. The "0" position is your off setting. The cap unscrews counterclockwise, holding a CR2032 battery with the positive [+] side facing towards the cap. Reticle abnormalities, and small imperfections may be visible when viewed indoors or in low light conditions at the brightest settings. This is a normal result of the reticle etching process. Abnormalities at these settings will not be visible when viewed in daylight conditions. Using the brightest settings in low-light situations will overpower your eye's ability to see the target andmake the reticle appear distorted. The right amount of illumination creates a clear contrast between the reticle and your intended target, without straining the eye.
