Description: In 1983, Seiko unveiled to the world the first ever quartz analog chronograph, the 7A28 - a 15 jewel, fully adjustable quartz movement with zero plastic parts in the gear train and a movement that can be serviced and adjusted just like a mechanical watch due to its innovative construction. This one is a rare matte black example with gold accents from 1983. It was purchased in the Canadian market (hence the 7069 instead of 7060) and comes with what I believe to be the original box made in the USA by Bufkor, the company that made boxes for Rolex, Tudor etc. It's in overall good "daily watch" condition with minor blemishes/paint chips/caseback scratch and it comes with the original bracelet and spare links. A new battery was just installed and it works well! The button seals have been cleaned / very lightly greased and they dont stick, but the crown will need a new seal if you plan on getting it wet. That being said, this is a great piece to add to any Seiko enthusiast's collection and they rarely come up for sale! Zoom in on all pictures for details and condition.
