Stock is solid with dings and dents typical of WWII-era carbines. Stock has faint but visible IBM acceptance stamp on the right side of the butt near the grip. Stock has been personalized on the left side (see picture). Hand guard is marked JL-B, indicating it was made for IBM by Jamestown Lounge Co. of Jamestown, NY. Recoil plate is unmarked post-war cast.
