Description: This listing is for a vintage "roll" of crepe paper by Dennison - "Dennisons Very Best" in a gorgeous, rich peach color (that's what they call it, as well). It is a big roll from the 1950's, of high quality easy to use crepe paper. Dennison's vintage crepe paper is great for making flowers or all kinds of vintage crafts. It is a bit thicker and easier to use than the new papers, which are thinner. I have lots of crepe paper for sale, so take a look! The paper is excellent - nos (new old stock) and iop (in original package). THe original packaging for this paper, is just a wrapper. The size and wrapper date it to the early 1950's. Later on, into the 1970's, Dennison started putting their paper into plastic bags and the paper became thinner, like their competition. By the 1990's, their crafts market had dried up, and they sold to Avery, who discontinued their crafts and party items. This caused a resurgence in their popularity, with collectors and crafters both wanting the vintage Dennison products! Dennison published LOTS of books through the years for using their crepe paper, if you want to make some vintage crafts from the vintage paper.
