Description: This is a 2005 DVD of The Entertainers, the 1991 ABC TV movie starring the late, great Bob Newhart along with Linda Gray, Richard Romanus, Bill Erwin, Sly Smith, and Bubbles the Chimp. The DVD was issued by Direct Source Special Products in conjunction with FremantleMedia. The disc has a few minor blemishes but played fine straight through for me. The movie is presented in its original 4:3 aspect ratio. Run time is about 90 minutes. The DVD is labeled "suitable for all family viewing," and it is for the most part, with I think a couple of the milder four-letter words. There are no extra features or subtitles, only an option for French audio as well as the original English. For logo buffs, there is a Robert Greenwald Productions logo after the end credits plus a Fremantle logo.
