This kit contains the THT Electronic Dice Kit (now with on/off switch), but also includes a 3D printed base that holds the board nicely to prevent damage to the surface it is sitting on. Use it for gaming or keep it on your desk as a conversation piece! This kit is also offered with a premium base that holds a 9v battery, and less base. See other listings. There are over 70 parts to be placed on the board. Once you power it up with 9 volts dc (I've powered it up with 5 volts, just runs dimmer), press any of the 4 buttons to roll the dice. Once you let off the button, they will slowly come to a stop on random numbers. Feel free to contact me if you have any questions or need help. Note: This kit is not designed to teach you how to solder, but allow you to practice what you've learned. Soldering equipment is required. If you are new to soldering, I highly recommend watching some videos on the web to help with learning different techniques (or relearning ones forgotten).
