The book appears gently read and has no internal writing, no remainder marks and is NOT Ex-Libris or a BCE. Some general/shelf/age wear along with... Creases/scuffing/marks/wear to the spine/corners/boards, particularly noticeable near/along the edges. Marks/foxing/wear to the edge/fore pages. Creases/marks/foxing/wear to the pages. Varying in size and severity, particularly noticeable on certain pages. Detached pages. Completely detached and separate from the book! While it is one single piece, it contains more than one page. It contains pages 261, 262, 263, 264 and 265. Page 265 is a color illustration. This entire piece, (multiple pages), has separated as one single piece and will be placed in the spot in which it should belong. We want to repeat that this one piece/multiple pages is fully detached from the book. This is, in our opinion, the most unfortunate wear affecting this book. All of the wear previously mentioned is considerable and very clearly visible! The wear should be carefully examined/considered. We tend to grade the condition of our books rather harshly and took into consideration any and all wear when determining the value of this rare book. Our VERY LOW asking price is a reflection of that consideration and if this copy was in better condition our asking price would be considerably higher.
