Description: Description: This is for 3 premium Poncirus Trifoliate Orange trees originally ~40" long. They will be freshly dug when purchased, trimmed to about 16" length and shipped bare root. These are excellent root stock for grafting, or you can plant as they are, and they will sprout their own new shoot and grow rapidly. They are very hardy and can grow in most zones. They can withstand the cold better than any other lemon or orange tree. They are good for temperatures to -10 F. These trees stay green most of the winter. The trees do well in both sun and shady areas. They require little to no maintenance and produce fruit most every year. Beauty: This is a very interesting tree for your landscape. The blooms in the spring are fragrant and attract honeybees. Although the fruit is edible, it is very tart and requires a lot of sugar for lemonade or marmalade. They can be uses as security around windows or property lines. This tree is also a good deterrent for deer. See my other auction for the rare Chinkapin, Sawtooth and Bur Oaks. Also see the Dwarf Red Buckeye and the Ohio Buckeyes. You love the uniqueness of these trees. I generally ship ASAP, I keep all trees fresh and they are not packaged until the day of shipping.
