All parts function as they should. The reel casts and retrieves line properly, the anti-reverse lever works, the drag works well, the reel spins freely, the bail snaps shut, and the handle reels properly. The handle is an after-market item, that folds down for storage, that looks good and works well on this reel. This is a great working reel with signs of wear on the wording on the rotating head and on the face plate, wear on the edges of the frame, by the lube port, and one chip on the leg.
