Vintage Hand Carved Wooden Tibetan Nepal Frame For 5 1/2” x 4” Photo or Print

Description: This vintage wooden frame is the perfect addition to any collection. Handmade in Nepal, it features an ornate all-over stained finish and a Tibetan style. Measuring 9 15/16” in length, 4 1/2” in width, and 10 3/4” in height, it has a photo capacity of 1 and is suitable for a 4 x 6 in photo or print. The frame is mounted on a wall and has a rear-loading photo insertion type. The item weighs 1 lb 5 oz and has a box frame depth of 2”. It is an original piece and not a licensed reproduction. The frame is rectangular in shape with a brown color and a pattern of all-over. This item is suitable for all occasions and is a unique piece that will add character to any space. Found at estate sale with no history but upon online research it was described as tramp folk art but also as Tibetan and from Nepal (my guess is that this is not tramp folk art rather Tibetan). It initially had a back swing to hold it atop a table but it broke off, however, personally believe it would be better highlighted as hung on a wall. It’s a beautiful piece that deserves to be highlighted. Note: I’ve seen the frame also change to upside down mode (which I’ll show in a pic) but believe I’m showing in correct orientation.
