Description: This vintage empty Jack Daniel's Maxwell House 1971 Decanter/Bottle with a clear color and gold labeling is in very good condition. Created in 1971, this original Maxwell House decanter replica of a 1906 bottle features an empty bottle, designed my Lem Motlow. NO ORIGINAL BOX, do NOT have the ORIGINAL BOX and NO HANG TAG, just the bottle and stopper!! "Lem Motlow, Jack Daniel's nephew, originally designed this half-gallon size decanter for Nashville's elegant Maxwell House Hotel. In return, the Maxwell House agreed that Jack Daniel's would be the exclusive whiskey served to those who visited this fine landmark hotel." The decanter is 13" tall and approx 5 1/4" side. In good condition, some wear/age on neck label, been told the cork/stopper is not the one it is supposed to be, but when I bought it decades ago, that is the one that came with it.
