All the eyelets are firmly attached with no fraying. The cork handle does show some normal wear. The fly rod is 9 feet in length. It is a four piece set which includes an extra tip section. It did not have a storage case. I will take extra care in packing it so you can rest assured that it will arrive in perfect condition.
