Vintage Rare 1941 14k Rose Gold Hamilton Watch, NEVER WORN!

Description: This Hamilton Essex is a beautiful wristwatch from 1940-1941 in a beautiful coral (rose) gold with fixed, fancy lugs, in excellent condition! In fact the original band and watch look as if they have never been worn! Update: The dial on this watch, although was previously working and winding it without issue, is now loose and does not seem to be connecting to the parts inside necessary to make it dial. I am confident that someone who works with watches could easily repair it because it was working until I just noticed now, that the dial is very loose in there and not winding the watch. The movement is USA-made caliber 980 with 17 jewels. The case and dial are absolutely gorgeous! The 10-karat coral/rose gold filled case is special because coral/rose gold is not as commonly seen as yellow or white gold cases. Furthermore, this case is in great condition for being 82-83 years old, showing only light wear. The sterling silver dial has a coral/rose gold finish, though not as bright as the actual gold of the case. The dial shows a light patina that gives it a refined, aged look. The Breguet numerals are a very shiny, 18-karat applied white gold, as are the lance-shaped hour and minute hands, which contrast beautifully with the coral/rose gold of the dial and case! The sub-second hand is blued-steel stick-shaped and the minute and second tracks are black. The fancy fixed lugs add an additional level of sophistication that is, again, not commonly seen, even in vintage watches. This is a stunning combination of color, shine, and style! This watch comes on a black two-piece lizard-grain leather strap with a yellow gold buckle. It runs great, keeps time very well! This vintage Hamilton Essex wristwatch is so attractive, making it a must-have for any collection! It will also make a very special gift, for that special someone.
