Description: BRAND: SEIKO MADE IN: Japan MODEL: Vintage SEIKO 5 SPORTS SPEEDTIMER 7017-8000 CHRONOGRAPH AUTOMATIC WATCH JAPAN 77 SERIAL #0D0497 MEASUREMENTS: CASE WIDTH: 39.93MM INSIDE LUG: 18MM CONDITION NOTES: The case is in good condition, it has some light nicks and dings, but is clean and sits on the wrist nicely. The dial is a beautiful black with white and orange accents and is in excellent condition. The hands look to be in very good condition, the chrono hand is in excellent shape. The watch crystal was heavily scuffed and was replaced. The watch is fitted with a new black leather band. The watch is running at around +4s/d, keeping time nicely, and the date quick set works (ENG/KANJI) The chronograph starts/stops and resets as it should (This series is a fly back chrono). A new caseback and crown gasket would be recommended, they can be found on ebay. Enjoy this beautiful part of Seiko history. Feel free to ask questions.
