Description: Vintage American Queen Pitman & Keeler Gold tone Sterling Base Heart Expandable Bracelet ****FOR PARTS**** ***REPAIR**** It is separated and I’m not sure if it has all the links for a very small bracelet or if it is missing links Vintage from the 1940s Materials: Gold, Silver Style: Avant garde Antique Gold filled sweetheart expansion bracelet Circa 1940s Not personalized American Queen Pitman & Keeler Sterling base Excellent condition There is slight vintage wear to the gold finish and age related patina, see pictures of the links. This piece has a sterling base - so polish or not, to your own discretion. A majority of these jewelry pieces were produced in the 1930s & Forties. Gold Filled ( Not plated ) , they were given to a sweetheart by an American Soldier preparing to be away on duties. They were often engraved with names or initials , & some had a Locket on the front where a picture could be enclosed as a Romantic war-time memento. ~ Although there are also many of the Gold filled expansion bracelets that were produced in the Victorian Era Circa 1800s -1920s. Either way- they are a stunning piece of History & beautiful treasure to collect and wear!! Some Patina and/or light vintage wear are natural and normal to Vintage & Antique pieces, and should be expected. It is known that many collectors Look for the natural aging process of Antique jewelry, and Patina is a great way to identify these pieces!
